The legendary super heroine Darna,begun her first adventure through the pages of Pilipino comics. On april 1950 "Darna",Mars Ravelo's super heroine first battled the snake goddess "Valentina".Soon after, Kenkoy comics serialized "Si Darna at ang babaeng lawin" (Darna and the hawk woman).After Darna's successful debut in the comics universe,there was no stopping Darna and her side kick brother Ding.Next Darna conquered the silver screen as Rosa Del Rosario magically immortalized Darna and flew in out of the silver screen not only once but twice Via 1951 movie adaptation of "DARNA" produced by Fernado Poe under his own production Royal film. Soon after on 1952 "Darna at ang babaeng lawin"(Darna and the hawkwoman) was released both films were shown internationally.

"Darna" adheres to the concept of a super-heroine: gutsy,helpful,compassionate,lovable,simple.A true blue heroine of our times.Her super powers are Flight,Speed,indistructable to man made weapons and super strenght.

Darna, battles numerous villains, no one come close to becoming as popular nemesis herself other than the snake goddess Valentina.She uses her charm and beauty to get her male victims,one look in her eyes she can turn her foes into stone even Darna is no exception .Valentina matches Darna's super strenght.

Darna's nemesis are Armida the hawk woman, Garda The leech woman, Roma The evil twins,Vampires, Lucila the tree monster,Giants,Zombies,Alliens,Witches and Warlocks.

Narda is Darna's alter ego, she got her power from a shooting star a white stone w/ Darna's name on it.Strings of Darna movies were shown and has their own versions on how Narda got her power.
